Rouen à Table! 2026: Five Days of Gastronomy and Music
From October 7 to 11, 2026, “Rouen à Table!” returns for its third edition, with a focus on music. The program features chef-led dinners, gourmet scavenger hunts, and the “Fête du Ventre.”
As the first French city in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the category of gastronomy, Rouen is back in the spotlight. From Wednesday, October 7, to Sunday, October 11, 2026, the third edition of “Rouen à Table!” will bring together cuisine and music throughout the city. Its patron is baker Christophe Cressent, winner of the Meilleur Ouvrier de France award in 2000 and owner of Ma Boulangerie.
Three dinners with live music at the foot of the cathedral
On October 7, 8, and 9 at 7 p.m., a marquee set up on Place de la Cathédrale will host “Les Chefs à la baguette,” three dinners featuring menus inspired by musical works. On Wednesday, the variety show evening (€125) will feature Thierry Demoget (Les Capucines), Gustave Jourdain (Le Jehanne), Benoît David (L’Hermitage), and, for dessert, Watcharapong Sorndee, chef at Gill Côté Bistro (1 toque). On Thursday, it’s jazz night (€125) with Éric Autin (L’Incontournable), Lynda Jumel (Lé Là), Thomas Lemelle (Rotomagus), and Hakim Benallal, chef at 6e Sens (1 toque). On Friday, the classical music evening (€140) is led by Suzanne Da Silva, chef at L’Odas (2 toques), and Quentin Le Deunff (L’Épicurius), featuring eight original creations.
Chefs from Around the World Invited to Rouen
Over the weekend, several hotels in the city, includingthe Hôtel de Bourgtheroulde and the Hyatt Place Rouen, will open their kitchens for four-handed dinners titled “Deux mondes, un menu.” Their chefs will host colleagues from other UNESCO Creative Cities: Brazil, China, the United States, Thailand, and Lebanon. These guests will also host free cooking demonstrations on Saturday, October 10, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Place de la Cathédrale, hosted by Damien Duquesne, also known as Chef Damien.
Gourmet Tours and the Fête du Ventre
On Saturday, October 10, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the gourmet tours (€41) offer six itineraries across seven stops—from appetizer to coffee—at 42 restaurants. A 100% gourmet tour (€61) rounds out the package. That same weekend, the Fête du Ventre—founded in 1929 and revived in 2000—takes over Place du Vieux-Marché and the surrounding streets free of charge, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. A hearty breakfast, classes from the École Fauchon at the Halle aux Toiles, a “disco-soup” event, and children’s workshops round out the program.
