On the Place du Vieux-Marché, this is undoubtedly one of the most reliable and consistent restaurants. Thanks to the teams led by Gilles Tournadre—the city’s leading figure in gastronomy (Member of the Académie Française, 5 Golden Toques)—the ingredients are top-notch and the service is highly professional. You can confidently look forward to the classics, always executed flawlessly: the terrine, calf’s head, and hand-chopped tartare, as well as seasonal specialties like miso-glazed eggplant, pistachio sausage, sea bass fillet with zucchini and crushed tomatoes in a rouille sauce… Good service, a well-stocked wine cellar, and carefully crafted desserts (the Marquise-style chocolate dessert is a real treat!).
