Gourmet Restaurant This bistro is so well placed to observe life in Rouen as it passes by the Vieux Marché, and even more so on the terrace in summer. Gilles Tournadre has placed a fine young chef here, who does just as well with contemporary dishes such as sea bream ceviche, as he does with the dishes from the domestic repertoire so dear to our Norman Academician: calf's head, hot sausage with pistachios, chuck in red wine or poultry in cream sauce as the special of the day. We finish with the crème caramel speciality or the tart of the moment (with citrus fruit the other day), and drink a glass of a good selection or the Ragnar, a Rouen beer.
