How can you impress your guests with haute cuisine tableware?

How can you impress your guests with haute cuisine tableware?

Who hasn't dreamed of eating off the same plates as the greatest chefs? To savor a dessert on porcelain that has seen thousands of gourmands pass by? This dream becomes reality thanks to La Vaisselle des Chefs, a brand-new event coming to Paris.

"Set your table with chefs' crockery!" For a few days, Parisians will be able to hunt through thousands of pieces that belonged to legendary restaurants such as Le Meurice, Le Plaza Athénée and Lucas Carton. Plates, glasses, cutlery, as well as more unusual items such as gratin dishes and salad bowls, will be on sale. Each piece tells a story, that of an emblematic dish, a memorable service or simply a moment of sharing around a table.

In addition to delighting connoisseurs of fine dining, this event is also about solidarity. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Apprentis d'Auteuil, to support the training of young people in the hotel and restaurant trades. It's a chance to do some good and treat yourself at the same time.

Prestigious brands take part

Among the participants are such major names as Bernardaud, who will be supplying unique porcelain pieces, and Jars Céramiques, famous for its handcrafted creations. Tea lovers will be delighted to discover Ladurée's tea services.

An event not to be missed

Whether you're an avid collector or simply a culinary enthusiast, La Vaisselle des Chefs is an event not to be missed. It's an opportunity to treat yourself to a piece of history, create a unique collection or simply find the perfect gift for a food lover.

Practical information

  • When is the event? Saturday, February 8 and Sunday, February 9, 2025
  • Where? Césure, 13 rue de Santeuil, 75005 Paris
