L'avis de Gault&Millau
Un nouveau chapitre s’est ouvert avec la reprise de la maison en 2023 par Ségolène Frère-Gallienne. Accompagnée par Guillaume Truchot, directeur général, et Julien Lardy, chef de caves, elle renforce l’ADN de la maison, entre respect du patrimoine et innovation. La production est issue de 10 ha de chardonnay sur la côte des Blancs, 6 ha à Bisseuil près de Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, et 2,5 ha à Damery, réputé pour ses pinots meuniers et site de la maison. L’approvisionnement est complété par l’achat de raisin. Une partie des vins de réserve est conservée en magnums bouchés sous liège, puis débouchée et assemblée aux cuvées, apportant fraîcheur et complexité au vin.
