Gault&Millau's review
Yannick Prévoteau is a family-run business where know-how has been passed down through five generations. Located in Damery, in the Marne valley, the winery operates just over 10 hectares of vineyards, comprising more than 63 parcels spread over several villages: Damery, Fleury-la-Rivière, Venteuil, Œuilly, Aÿ (grand cru), Pierry (premier cru) and Vitry-en-Perthois. Thanks to their parcel-based vinification, the house produces champagnes with an assertive personality, expressing through their cuvées the identity of each terroir and/or grape variety. The "Les Confidentiels" range goes even further, offering wines vinified in wood or R.D. champagnes (recently disgorged). Most cuvées are available with no added sugar (in natural brut dosage).
