With its golden yellow color and silvery highlights, this cuvée, made from chardonnay and pinot noir grapes, still boasts a fine bubble. Slight woody notes surround a rich bouquet of ripe yellow fruit and redcurrant jelly. The palate is smooth, creamy, fresh and greedy, punctuated by flavors of undergrowth, with great ageing potential. Pair this champagne with pan-fried foie gras, served on a bed of sautéed peaches with vanilla.
