With just over 6 hectares (mainly Pinot Noir and Meunier), spread over 9 communes, including 3 Premier Crus, Yann Alexandre, a winegrower who claims to be totally independent, has opted for parcel-based vinification in order to preserve the characteristics of each terroir and grape variety for as long as possible. In the vineyard, soil tillage and grass cover are part of the specifications: grass cover on the 30 plots has been practiced for 20 years, and no herbicides are used. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in oak barrels, without malolactic fermentation. The estate has held level 3 High Environmental Value (HVE) certification since 2015.
