Yann Alexandre
Yann Alexandre, an independent winemaker, cultivates 31 plots in the Petite Montagne de Reims, the Saint-Thierry massif, the Ardre Valley, and the Vitryat region, where the soil has been tilled and the vineyards have been covered with grass since 1999. On approximately 6 hectares, he asserts his independence by opting for plot-by-plot winemaking, in order to preserve the characteristics of each terroir and grape variety. Yann then focuses on blending all these different wines, which are fermented in oak barrels or stainless steel tanks. His champagnes are thus a carefully crafted expression resulting from the blend of different communes, vintages, plots, and even grape varieties.
