This vintage is a blend of 75% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Noir. The nose is charmed by aromas of encaustic, puff pastry and toasted sesame, refreshed by licorice. On the palate, full-bodied and complex, fresh flavors evolve towards roasted hazelnut and a touch of roasting.

Vollereaux

The Vollereaux family owns 42 ha of vines spread over 13 communes on the southern slopes of Épernay. The estate is based in Pierry, a magnificent village classified as a premier cru. The brand's first bottles date back to 1923. Today, the sixth generation is at the helm: Franck in charge of vinification, Hélène in charge of reception and wine tourism, and Jean-Marie in charge of the vines. With a varied supply of grapes, the house has a veritable orchestra of terroirs on which Chardonnay (the majority), Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier can express their distinctive characteristics. Vinification takes place in stainless steel vats. As far as tourism is concerned, the house offers wine-tasting workshops and picnics in the vineyards.
