This is the estate's grand cuvée, in a landmark vintage. The open nose blossoms with notes of peach crumble, oranges, brioche and a hint of menthol. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, generous and well structured around Chardonnay, the majority grape variety. It's beautifully fresh, despite a dosage that could be slightly reduced, especially in a great, structured vintage like 2008. A fine cuvée.

Champagne Vollereaux comprises 42 hectares of vineyards spread across 13 communes on the southern slopes of Épernay. The estate, based in Pierry, is currently run by the sixth generation—Franck and Hélène—with the seventh generation, Camille and Max, joining them. With a diverse selection of grapes, the house boasts a veritable symphony of terroirs where Chardonnay (the predominant variety), Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier can express their distinctive characteristics. The estate has developed a wide range of wine tourism experiences: cellar tours, tastings paired with chocolate and cookies, lunch by the fire pit, or even a picnic in the vineyards.
