Gault&Millau's review
Since 1922 and over the next generations, Champagne Veuve Olivier et Fils has always been concerned to preserve the authenticity of its terroirs. The great-grandfather Edmond was a winemaker in Trélou-sur-Marne, and had already made and sold his champagne under the name "Terroir des Buttes” at the beginning of the century. His daughter Liliane Olivier and grandson Pierre created the brand in 1955. Since then these independent winemakers have persevered and strived to maintain the family tradition, and have also increased their holdings to 18 hectares. Their vineyards are located in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne on south-facing hillsides, run today by Sandrine with sustainable viticulture, and whose motto sums up the spirit of the house: "Woman, culture, wine. "
