Gault&Millau's review 2026

Notes of honey, caramel, toast, nougat, flowers and peach syrup on the nose. On the palate, the creamy bubbles persist with a fleshy body supported by wood tannins. The woody aroma gives way to lovely fruit, with grapefruit tension and a chalky touch. For its price, this wine is the perfect accompaniment to a veal chop with forest sauce.

Veuve Olivier et Fils
Veuve Olivier et Fils
Since 1922, Maison Veuve Olivier & Fils has passionately carried on five generations of Champagne expertise in Trélou-sur-Marne, in the heart of the Marne Valley. Sandrine Olivier and her daughter Mathilde embody the future of this independent family-owned house, whose motto is “one woman, one culture, one wine.” The 18 hectares of vineyards, situated on south-facing slopes, are cultivated using sustainable viticulture practices, and the wines benefit from extended aging in the cellar.
