Produced from a single plot, a single grape variety, pinot noir, and a single year, solar 2012, this cuvée is disgorged a year before release, and presents itself in a light gold color with extra-fine bubbles. On the nose, slightly yeasty on opening, aromas of yellow fruit, apple juice and spices emerge with great complexity and vigor. On the palate, there's more vibrancy than precision. A lively wine, as the back label reminds us.
