This blanc de blancs is a wine worthy of the great Côte de Beaune crus. A discreet, fine nose is followed by a palate of roasted, finely wooded notes, pure, untouched fruit and chalky length. Delicately smoky notes, no doubt due to the flinty soil of this specific terroir, add a rare extra layer of complexity to this energetic champagne. The bubbles act as a revelation of a great wine. Superb!
