Domaine de Marzilly has its origins in the heart of the village of the same name, in the Saint-Thierry massif, the northernmost region of Champagne. Created by Maxime Ullens, the domaine produces characterful champagnes under the Ullens brand, with the utmost respect for local traditions and biodiversity. The story began in 2012, when Maxime and his father acquired the ruins of the 12th-century Château de Marzilly. Inspired by the richness of the terroirs and traditional winemaking methods, Maxime Ullens put an end to his historical renovation business in Belgium and, with the support of his wife Anna, took up the challenge of creating a new operation.

Wine Estate : Domaine de Marzilly

Le domaine se fixe un objectif clair : mettre en avant le patrimoine de Marzilly et du massif de Saint-Thierry. Le Domaine de Marzilly s’approvisionne aujourd’hui sur près de 4 hectares de vignes. Le vignoble est situé sur un coin sableux de Champagne, où le pinot meunier domine. Le domaine est certifié HVE3 et VDC. Les fermentations s’effectuent en fûts de chêne, dont certains proviennent également du parc du château. Le Clos de Marzilly, clos historique de la région, est la parcelle la plus emblématique du domaine, entièrement constituée de meunier et certifiée Ecocert.
