Coming from a family of winemakers that has passed the craft down from father to son for five generations, Roger Barnier was the first to begin producing his own wines, thus becoming a grower-producer in Villevenard. Today, his grandson, Frédéric Berthelot, has taken over the family business and carries on the house’s tradition. Passionate about cooking, he is evolving the range toward champagnes designed for fine dining and creating single-vineyard cuvées thanks to 8 hectares of vineyards spread across more than 40 plots.
