Fresh bread toast and ripe lemon on the nose for this cuvée that bears witness to the house style. On the palate, the wine is very straightforward, very fine, with young, lively fruit. The years have no effect on it: no over-ripeness, no heat for this wine, which remains as upright as a church in the center of the village. A bottle to open classically with white fish.

Pommery

Pommery has always been regarded as an innovative brand, eager to offer new ways of enjoying champagne alongside its traditional cuvées. This was the case in 1874, when Louise Pommery created a brut champagne that broke with the tradition of very sweet wines. It was also the case decades later with the launch of the Pop line—20-cl bottles with corks and traditional wire cages. It remains so today with Royal Blue Sky, a champagne meant to be enjoyed over ice. However, these innovations should not overshadow the various ranges composed of remarkable cuvées.
