The age of the vintage shines through with aromas of fresh toast, roasted hazelnut, blond tobacco and dried apricot, reflecting a slight oxidation. Walnut and hazelnut are found in a very pastry-like palate, with brioche, vanilla and salted butter caramel. An evanescent effervescence runs through the enveloping body before a finish that retains its energy thanks to small bitters. Serve with sweetbreads.
