A pure Pinot Noir from the 2017 vintage, this cuvée offers a very successful, fresh and airy nose. The palate is gourmet, intense, powerful, yet distinguished. A lovely chewy palate, with a savoury finish and nice bitter notes. We have been seduced.

This 19th-century Aube family estate is located in Polisot, on the Côte des Bar. Roland Piollot took over the estate in 1986 and began working the soil. After obtaining organic farming certification in 2014, the 8.5 ha of vines were recently certified biodynamic. Proud of his heritage - half the vines are over 50 years old - the winemaker produces a majority of pinot noir, but also rarer varieties such as arbane and pinot blanc. In addition to his classic cuvées de réserve and rosés, the domaine offers single-vineyard champagnes with assertive character. His daughter Jeanne, the sixth generation, is in charge of the estate's communications.
