A rarity, this pure Pinot Blanc is made only from the 2014 vintage. This wine is just superb. Notes of fresh pineapple, juicy pear and white fruit combine with freshness, distinction and complexity. The palate is sapide, clean and fresh. So we take another sip very quickly. A lovely long and tense finish. Bravo.

Piollot Père et Fils

This 19th-century Aube family estate is located in Polisot, on the Côte des Bar. Roland Piollot took over the estate in 1986 and began working the soil. After obtaining organic farming certification in 2014, the 8.5 ha of vines were recently certified biodynamic. Proud of his heritage - half the vines are over 50 years old - the winemaker produces a majority of pinot noir, but also rarer varieties such as arbane and pinot blanc. In addition to his classic cuvées de réserve and rosés, the domaine offers single-vineyard champagnes with assertive character. His daughter Jeanne, the sixth generation, is in charge of the estate's communications.
