A single plot in the Premier Cru village of Trois-Puits is used to produce this saignée, which is more red than rosé, reminiscent of Jura poulsards. The nose plunges you into a world of red and black fruits: blackberry, cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry. The palate follows suit, with a very fruity attack. A chalky finish. Pair with a fruit salad - red, of course!

Pierre Trichet

South of Reims lies the small village of Trois-Puits, with fewer than 200 residents. It was here that Pierre Trichet’s parents, grain farmers, planted the first grapevines in the 1960s. Over the decades, the estate has expanded into the towns of Ludes, Taissy, and Montbré, and Pierre Trichet now manages 8 hectares. While he remains in charge of tending his Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards, he has entrusted the management of the estate to Stéphane Dubois, who oversees a lineup that includes a hidden gem: a 100% Pinot Blanc planted at Les Trois-Puits, which ages in a cellar discovered by Pierre’s father and believed to date back to 1789.
