Coeur de Craie de Trois Puits (Vendange 2010)
Pierre Baillette
Gault&Millau's review
91/100
A cuvée from a single Pinot Noir vineyard, almost 40 years old, located in the village of Trois Puits. The nose of this unclaimed 2010 vintage is dominated by aromas of apple, lime and a very subtle hint of spring honey. Dried fruit and almond follow closely. Vinified in barrels, with a precise dosage of 3 grams per liter, this champagne has a clean chewiness and structure that give it fullness. The finish is chalky, saline and sapid.
