Gault&Millau's review
This house, founded in 1830 by Pierre-Charles Gonet, tells the story of how an ancient vineyard cultivated for almost two centuries by the same family came together with Pierre and Chantal, the seventh generation. Both share a common vision: to make Maison Philippe Gonet, which has built its reputation on its famous blanc de blancs, a jewel of the Côte des Blancs. All the more so since the cellar, which dates back to 1783, contains a fabulous collection of very old bottles. The wines are always balanced between terroir and maximum expressivity: a true Côte des Blancs philosophy.
