Differences between the magnum and the 75-cl bottle: paler color; disgorged 4 months earlier; less demonstrative nose, even more marked by chalk; more closed mouthfeel, less round, more punchy, more marked by fine acidity, with even finer bubbles and a delicate mousse. The youthful finish suggests a very long life for this magnum, but at present, we'd give it 0.5 points less than the 75 cl bottle.
