A cuvee from the only Grand Cru village of Mesnil-sur-Oger, and from a rather ample, generous vintage. A complex, gourmand nose, with aromas of very ripe yellow fruit, dried-fruit brioche, juicy pear and a touch of salt, is matched by a generous palate which, as is often the case in this house, is distinguished by its drinkability: each glass calls for another. A zesty, fresh finish for this cuvée, whose pedigree is less marked than that of the great 2008, but whose gourmandise and fullness are perfect today.
