M. Marcoult

Julien Marcoult and Florence manage the family estate located in Barbonne-Fayel, a village with medieval roots. They cultivate 12 hectares of vineyards, primarily Chardonnay, across three regions: the Côte du Sézannais, the Côte des Bar, and the Côte du Vitryat. This allows them to benefit from varied terroirs, ranging from clay, chalk, and sandy soils to flint pebbles. Each plot is vinified separately and aged in various containers (stainless steel, wood, Wineglobe, etc.). From the vineyards—where they practice eco-grazing and cover cropping—to their minimally interventionist winemaking, they craft their wines with care and conviction.
