Marie Courtin

Going against the grain of Champagne tradition, Dominique Moreau has established her own style. At her estate on the Côte des Bar, there are no blends, just cuvées made from a single grape variety and a single year, with little or no dosage, sold under the name "Champagne Marie Courtin", in homage to her grandmother. In her biodynamically farmed vineyards, the winemaker strives to transcribe as closely as possible the characteristics of the terroir. The result is wines that are both energetic and delicate, and open up well in the glass.
