The nose reveals pear liqueur, fruit brandy, old honey and mushroom. On the palate, the wine is evolved, fairly dosed, certainly complex, but rather heavy, even if the "old-fashioned" style suits the vintage well. Drink immediately with a filet of beef à la ficelle.

This estate has been making champagnes since 1991 and mainly grows Pinot Noir on its 13 hectares located on a south, south east facing hillside. However, 3 hectares are planted with Chardonnay. The Brulez brothers are now managing the estate while Francis‘ daughter, Delphine is the oenologist. This estate also offers dinners accompanied by champagne for groups up to 50 people.
