A 2014 whose back label specifies "montage" to indicate the majority origin of grapes from Verzy, a grand cru village in the Montagne de Reims north. The nose is both subtle and powerful. It precedes an ample palate, structured around a particularly full, luscious mid-palate. The texture is remarkable and the length perfect, finely chalky. Its salivating character makes you want to come back for more. A very successful champagne to be opened at the table with a choice dish such as a woodcock terrine.
