Gault&Millau's review
The adventure began with Diogène Tissier in the 1930s. Then came the children and grandchildren who worked on the estate. Today, the fourth generation also works for the brand, which was only created in 1998. The 6-hectare estate is spread over the southern slopes of Épernay, the Sézannais and Marne valleys, as well as Grand Cru vineyards in Cramant and Chouilly. The vineyard is planted with 40% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir. Vinification is carried out in vats, but also partly in barrels, depending on the cuvée. In 2021, the estate was awarded the Jeunes Talents du Champagne public prize for its "Diogénis Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2015" cuvée.
