Guy and Colette Larmandier settled in Vertus, a village on the Côte des Blancs, in 1976. Since 2000, François and Marie-Hélène have carried on their parents’ legacy by producing exquisite, elegant, and consistent Blanc de Blancs. In 2024, Marie-Hélène’s children—Jean-Philippe, Pierre-Louis, and Inès—will join the estate. As grower-producers, the Larmandiers cultivate and vinify only their own grapes, grown on the grands crus of Chouilly and Cramant, and the premiers crus of Vertus and Cuis. Of particular note in their lineup is a very rare “Vertus Rouge” from the Coteaux Champenois.
