Grand cru from Mesnil-sur-Oger alone, this 2004 blanc de blancs presents notes of golden apple, pear, yellow lemon, dry chalk and a hint of iodine that opens up with aeration. On the palate, the wine has very fine bubbles and a lively attack. The finish is rich in substance. This wine, still very young, deserves to wait a little longer, before being opened to accompany sweetbreads with morels and cream.
