The pale gold color with green highlights is visually fresh. The bubbles form a light mousse on the surface. The nose is fine, with aromas of citrus, white fruit and fresh butter, with a hint of smoke and coffee beans. The attack is honeyed and dosed, but quickly lifted by the freshness of the bubbles and hints of menthol and zest. A well-balanced champagne to drink as an aperitif with salmon or tarama canapés.

Guy Charlemagne
Guy Charlemagne is located in the heart of the Côte des Blancs, in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, on the terroirs of the Mesnil and Oger Grands Crus. Winegrowers from father to son since 1892, the Charlemagnes vinify only their own grapes, over 85% of which are Chardonnay from their 15-hectare vineyard, including a few vines in the Sézannais region. In all, some 130,000 bottles are produced each year. Vinification takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, except for the "Mesnillésime" cuvée, which ferments in oak barrels. A historic benchmark for the quality of its blanc de blancs, the domaine has been winning awards in guides and competitions for years.
