The color is still bright for this 2008, which has all the appeal of youth. Right from the nose, you can sense the wine's power, although the fruit, which is clearly of fresh grapes and yellow plums, is a little in the background for the moment. On the palate, the wine is similarly powerful, full-bodied and vinous, with great energy and a promising future. Try it today with a fine fricassee of porcini mushrooms, or cellar it for a few more years.
