Gault&Millau's review
An alliance between tradition and modernity: this is the guiding principle of Guiborat et Fils, based in Cramant. Acquired in 1885, this family-run business, located on the Côte des Blancs, vinifies 8 ha of vines on the classified terroirs of Cramant and Chouilly, as well as on that of Mardeuil, near the Marne valley. Today, Richard Fouquet and his wife Karine represent the fifth generation of winegrowers. The entire range is of a very high standard, with wines that express all the finesse and tension of their terroirs. Of particular note is the release of a cuvée of pure Pinot Meunier, named "Prohibition", which is proving particularly successful. Super domaine.
