From a plot planted with fruit trees, this champagne presents a pleasant nose of fresh fruit, mirabelle plum, yellow peach, apple and a touch of jasmine. On the palate, it starts out smooth and round, followed by the tannins of ageing and hints of vanilla. A lovely finish with well-controlled bitters for a champagne that will go well with poultry in sauce.

Geoffroy
Based in the great Marne valley, the Geoffroys have a predilection for red grape varieties, pinot noir or pinot meunier, with chardonnay serving as a back-up. Their champagnes are full-bodied and vinous thanks to generous sunshine, as all their Cumières vines grow on hillsides. Vinification, now carried out in the new facilities at Aÿ, takes place in oak tuns, and malolactic fermentation is systematically avoided. The estate is now run by five women - Margaux, Sacha, Rosalie, Colombine and Azalée. They develop parcel-based cuvées, with a special mention for "Les Houtrants", and two red coteaux-champenois. All the wines are of the highest quality. The 14-hectare vineyard has been in organic conversion since 2024.
