A lovely nose for this 2002, with notes of beeswax, mirabelle plum compote and undergrowth. On the palate, the wine is powerful, comfortably supported by a mellow bubble. The dosage is well integrated for this cuvée, which should be opened with a pigeon tagine with white raisins and saffron.
