Winery presentation by Gault&Millau
A first-generation producer, François Chaumont has been crafting his own cuvées since 2008. His vines come exclusively from the confidential Puisieulx Grand Cru. This is the smallest of Champagne's 17 Grand Crus, at 17 hectares. A number of winemakers have joined him in the drive to produce 100% Puisieulx cuvées. Since 2018, the 5-hectare estate has been certified HVE, level 3 option A, the highest level of certification and the most demanding, for its four champagnes, all single-varietal (chardonnay or pinot noir).
