Superb color for this probably unbleached cuvée, which reveals great expression. The nose oscillates between quince paste, sweet spices, poached pear and coffee beans in a beautiful complexity. On the palate, the wine is perfectly dry and fresh, despite being barrel-aged. This freshness, echoed in the finish, makes you want to sit down for a meal. A great success.
