To the eye, the color is dark, similar to that of clairets or Tavel wines. The nose is very expressive, with notes of black fruit, spices, chocolate, red fruit tart and blood orange. The palate is powerful and racy, with great volume. Obviously vinous, it remains very fresh, with aromas of garrigue. Total mastery. An immense wine that goes well with a fine rib-eye steak.

Cazé-Thibaut

Maison Cazé-Thibaut, located in the heart of the Marne Valley, has seen ten generations of winegrowers pass through its ranks. It was in 1953 that Roger Cazé created the Cazé champagne house and marketed his bottles for the first time. Today, Fabien carries on the tradition and works his vines organically, without herbicides or insecticides. The wines are aged in barrels before being bottled, and benefit from long ageing on fine lees.
