The color is slightly mottled. The nose reveals notes of wood, redcurrant, peat, blackberry and black pepper. On the palate, the attack is straightforward, followed by a supple, round body. Even the woody tannins maintain a certain balance. It has character to spare. Serve with gamey dishes.

Maison Cazé-Thibaut, located in the heart of the Marne Valley, has seen ten generations of winegrowers pass through its ranks. In 1953, Roger Cazé created the Cazé champagne house and marketed his bottles for the first time. Today, Fabien carries on the tradition, working his vines as cleanly as possible, without herbicides or insecticides. The wines are aged in barrels before being bottled, and benefit from long ageing on fine lees.
