A restrained wine, still marked by its ageing, but whose energy lies dormant beneath the wood. The nose is woody and peppery, with hints of redcurrant, blueberry and bark. The palate reveals creamy bubbles, a fresh attack and a round but measured body. The woody tannins add relief, and the finish stretches to walnut, wild strawberry and mentholated tension. A champagne for patient connoisseurs. But beware, it promises great emotions.

Cazé-Thibaut

Maison Cazé-Thibaut, located in the heart of the Marne Valley, has seen ten generations of winegrowers pass through its ranks. It was in 1953 that Roger Cazé created the Cazé champagne house and marketed his bottles for the first time. Today, Fabien carries on the tradition and works his vines organically, without herbicides or insecticides. The wines are aged in barrels before being bottled, and benefit from long ageing on fine lees.
