Beautifully ripe white fruit (peach, nectarine) is accompanied by notes of dried fruit (macadamia nuts, cashew nuts) and more pastry-like, almost creamy aromas. This impression of roundness is matched by a fleshy, full-bodied and charming body, almost enveloping with its aromas of pear, yellow peach and spices. The fine bubbles underline the finish, which retains its tension.

Boutillez Marchand

The family business operates around 7 ha, most of which are leased. The parcels, 97% planted with Chardonnay, are located on the Villers-Marmery terroir, a cru highly regarded by wine merchants. Pinot noir is now also given pride of place, with single-varietal cuvées. The domaine uses sustainable viticulture methods and offers a limited range of champagnes at reasonable prices, sold at the estate.
