The wines, from the 2016 to 2018 harvests, have been aged in oak barrels from the Reims mountain. An age that is evident from the first glance at the patinated gold color. On the palate, the evolution is present, underlined by aromas of fresh walnut, roasted almond and lemon pastry. On the palate, nutty flavors are found in a soothed, slightly oxidized texture.

Boutillez Marchand

The family business operates around 7 ha, most of which are leased. The parcels, 97% planted with Chardonnay, are located on the Villers-Marmery terroir, a cru highly regarded by wine merchants. Pinot noir is now also given pride of place, with single-varietal cuvées. The domaine uses sustainable viticulture methods and offers a limited range of champagnes at reasonable prices, sold at the estate.
