This maceration rosé reveals an incredibly dense cherry-red color. Raspberry jam, burlat cherry and jasmine scents are accompanied by spicier aromas. These aromas are to be found in a wine that is both remarkably greedy and vinous. Slight tannins accompany a luxuriant body, with notes of intense red berries. The acidic freshness of redcurrant energizes the finish, bringing a sensation of fullness. A game dish (doe, venison, wild boar) will temper its power.

The village lies at the end of the Laignes valley, on the borders of Champagne and Burgundy. It's a land of hillsides that, for centuries, men have patiently shaped for the vine. Its history and name are plural, and its reputation singular: Les Riceys. On the steepest slopes in Champagne, the Kimmeridgian limestone gives Les Riceys pinot noirs the unique expression that has made the reputation of its three appellations: champagne, coteaux-champenois and rosé-des-riceys.
