Very pretty nose with aromas of sweet citrus, lemon tart, vine peach and freshly cut grass. A very spring-like, energetic side from the outset, softened by aromas of tangy red berries. The delicate bubbles give way to a sparkling texture that echoes the aromatic bouquet. Energy and tension mark the finish. Incredible energy emanates from this luminous champagne.

The village lies at the end of the Laignes valley, on the borders of Champagne and Burgundy. It's a land of hillsides that, for centuries, men have patiently shaped for the vine. Its history and name are plural, and its reputation singular: Les Riceys. On the steepest slopes in Champagne, the Kimmeridgian limestone gives Les Riceys pinot noirs the unique expression that has made the reputation of its three appellations: champagne, coteaux-champenois and rosé-des-riceys. The Alexandre Bonnet estate produces some of the most sought-after wines on the Côte des Bar.
