Description
Sponsored The story of La Calabraise begins in a pizza truck and continues in a French double-decker bus, with a kitchen on the first floor and a dining room on the first. Eventually, the pizzeria moved to larger premises, complete with terrace, to develop its full potential. This family business, run by the owner, his wife and brother, is resourceful to say the least! Between the sixty or so pizzas on the menu and the 300 wine references (grands crus, nuggets, Italian wines, wines of the world or from producers from the four corners of France, working organically and regularly selected by sommelier Arnaud Lesage), customers are spoilt for choice. At La Calabraise, quantity rhymes with quality. Here, everything is homemade, orchestrated by chef Ambre Farré. No freezers or frozen foods, just fresh produce and flours selected according to texture and volume requirements. A dish of the day is offered every week to vary the pleasures. All served by a close-knit team in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
