Gault&Millau's review 2025

At the foot of the famous Bellevarde face and perfectly secluded in their snow garden, Les Barmes de l'Ours is a resort as luxurious as it is friendly. A special mention must go to the decor, which features a specific theme on each floor: Scandinavian, American lodge, contemporary spirit, Alpine chalet... All different, the 76 rooms and suites share the same level of comfort, with sumptuous bedding, plush carpets and spacious bathrooms. The establishment offers three restaurants, including La Table de l'Ours, run by Antoine Gras, as well as a splendid 1,000 m2 Sisley spa, with a swimming pool and vast play area, making it an ideal stopover for families.
