Sponsored With Vietnamese figurines and bronze drums as decor, Dieu Linh and Vinh Hoang took over this family-run shop near the catacombs of Place Denfert-Rochereau in 2018. Born in Hanoi, the couple present authentic, homemade recipes as they are made in northern Vietnam. A succulent Pho Bo (beef soup with rice noodles), an equally delicious Bun Cha Hanoi (charcoal-grilled pork, vermicelli and aromatic herbs) and a divine Kem Xoi for dessert (steamed glutinous rice flavored with pandan - an aromatic plant from Southeast Asia - with a scoop of vanilla ice cream): these are the delights that will transport you to Vietnam for the time of a lunch or dinner with exotic influences. The Dat Viet restaurant boasts a quiet summer terrace, adorned with bamboo and flowers to intensify the visual and gustatory change of scenery. A real experience! If you're passing through Bordeaux, try the family's second restaurant at 1 quai Sainte-Croix.
