Gault&Millau's review 2025

In the heart of the Montparnasse neighborhood (14th arrondissement), this boutique hotel was designed to pay tribute to Janine Niépce, one of France’s first great photojournalists and a distant cousin of the inventor of photography, Nicéphore Niépce, whose portraits are displayed throughout the hotel. As part of the Hilton Group’s Curio collection, the hotel offers very contemporary comfort, as reflected in its 52 rooms and suites with king-size beds, plush carpeting, and fully equipped bathrooms—including one suite with a private terrace and jacuzzi. On the ground floor, the restaurant La Verrière serves delicious, homemade French and Mediterranean cuisine made with fresh market ingredients in a space bathed in natural light, while the lounge bar La Galerie offers an afternoon snack menu. Finally, the fitness center is open 24 hours a day.
