The Menut brothers (Chez Georges, La Grande Cascade...) have transformed their Bœuf Maillot into a traditional bistro, less meaty, a little more canaille and popu, at the instigation of Bertrand, who has pasted his first name on the sign. The extensive menu includes all the Parisian standards, presented and spelled in the old-fashioned way, with the specialties in red: mayo eggs, green bean salad, knife sausage, mussels marinière, frogs and, of course, steak tartare "minced Menut". New from old, rather successful and well-calibrated.
